This particularly RV Road is in San Diego, CA (but it's funny because I was born in NJ). It has too many feds roaming around it now to be scary but it used to be a dirt wilderness road going from a suburb of SD Chula Vista to a mountain town named Jamul
I have a feeling most places in the US have an area similar to this for urban legends. I like the West coast ones a lot because they often have old west stories attached to them, like a road also nearby where some Indians ambushed a Wells stagecoach heading to Arizona.
