All I want is another Joker, Constantine and The Dark Knight. You give DC characters and IPs to top-tier directors and writers to work on with total freedom in a standalone environment. You allow for multiple Batman and Superman versions (remember, JL: Mortal was going to shoot 100% but the writer's strike stopped it, not WB canceling it because having two Batmen and Supermen was confusing to audiences) and just let directors/writers run wild with total freedom. Of course, this is what led to Joker: [FRENCH MONKEYSPEAK] but does one bomb really justify throwing such a low-risk, high-reward model out the window just to pathetically try your hand again at another DCU?

WB/Discovery split into two and are shorting options next month, this is all because they know this movie will bomb to high hell and they're prepping themselves for the financial fallout of dumping billions into a universe franchise that is kickstarted by a movie that hasn't even released. They've already shot Supergirl and Lanterns.
