Snyder's DC films are pretty straight forward, sleek and with memorable dialogue. It's obvious the concept was relatively grounded following Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy and that the starting points were chosen to allow for the characters to have meaningful character development (Superman growing into his role, facing significant hardship and doubts at first and a cynical older Batman being inspired by that and turning to virtue). Re-watched them recently and was especially surprised by how well the VFX held up.

Apple TV is the only unprofitable Apple product. They tried to make their own brand of high-quality originals but it's not yielding the results they wanted aside from one or two mildly popular shows. They buy WB and the IP they have and they have a goldmine to exploit with the money to take what are already the biggest franchises in the world and take them to the stratosphere.
