Lol to be fair it did implement hints to push you into the right direction because they got a lot of criticism for the sheer frustrating opacity of the first game, but still the game is far from being accessible. Good one though.

Discworld Noir, the third one, is more investigation-based and relies less on zany item combination. As a bonus, for fans of the source material it's probably the most accurate to the tone and style of Discworld.
