It’s fine. It’s got some cool ideas but the feel of "Man, this game got FUCKED in development" surrounds the entire thing. It’s hard to describe, it’s mostly little things, like mechanics that you’d think would matter more but don’t end up going anywhere (like your buddy Tricky learns how to breathe fire at early on and you think "Oh ok, I bet he’s gonna learn a couple of more skills over the game" but… no, it was just that one skill and never again) and by the end the game feels like it’s desperate to get it over with but there’s very little about it that’s out and out terrible. You could do worse but really you should do Darksiders first if you haven’t.

Absolutely true but that one staff move where he spins to hit the enemy a bunch of time was always really satisfying to use
