Hey guys. I've been riding my shitty analog bike from MEC as my primary transportation for the past 3 years and the internal gearhub on it (shimano nexus 5 speed) is finally starting to die.

I'm thinking of upgrading to an e-bike but here's what I'm looking for
>As cheap as possible but not chinese parts
>Mid-drive with a torque sensor
>No fat tires
>Prefer high bar
>Don't need a throttle
>Battery has to be replaceable

I don't want a mobility scooter and too many of the e-bikes I've seen are marketed for fat people or old people who haven't ridden a bike in 20 years. My region is hilly so all I'm really just looking for a regular bike with some added juice to get up hills and improve range.

I've been looking for something like pic rel, the Gazelle T9 HMB, but it's out of stock everywhere in my size. Are there any other makers/models I should be looking at, Bosch is the motor I was looking for but I've heard others like Yamaha make comparable products?

Would it be viable to buy an E-MTB and put road tires on it? The form factor seems closer to what I want than the shitty cruisers that most commuter bikes look like.
