Went with Lemmy since it was first, and it seems more fitting since the poor thing is constantly stressed out. I think it's because I have so many items laid out, or so Google/Reddit says. I don't run near him or anything, so maybe he's just a neurotic bitch like his namesake. Can't seem to catch anything else but Chompy would be #2... hope I can get something other than rabbits. Squirrels or a raccoon would be cool, I saw an orange one in a different run.
Lemmy needs a proper pen but I haven't got the nails or rags or time to spare, so he can live in here with me and deal with the stank. He's stayed well-fed and slaked, but the water and food I laid out isn't decreasing. I think he's automatically consuming out of the containers, maybe. Or eating something else on the ground I haven't noticed. I don't think temperature matters that much for animals.
Had a warm enough day I could make it to a nearby lodge and finally kill a handful of infected for tattered clothing to salvage. Whoever said trash foraging is broken in foraging was kind of right, the junk piles from 10 years later have good items but it balances out how stripped the places themselves are. Anyway, twice as homeless looking now but warmer. I guess stone is my bottleneck for all the crafting shit (via a forge) so I'll keep going back there to look for campfires to pull up.

The animal zone only encompasses the main room but it doesn't really matter if he goes in the closet... I leave the door open often because there's a big clay water tank and my medicine stash in there so I'm in and out a lot
