Unlike (older) helicopters and aircraft, the F-16 is fly-by-wire. No force is needed to manipulate the stick, as you aren't supposed to be focused on the stick anyhow. It only serves as a distraction if the stick both moves and exerts force on your body, instead, pilots focus on their surroundings and the movement of the stick becomes second nature, such as typing on a keyboard or riding a bike.
This also allows pilots to focus on their priority (killing).
