I'm eternally grateful and aware of the honestly immense privileged I've had through my life compared to most people on the planet. I'm grateful every day that I don't experience the awful situations and hardships that these people do.
But my perspective is that I think issues and suffering are relative. My problems and feelings are not less any valid. To quote the great poet Lil Dicky, we just had a different kind of trap.
I know people laugh when rich celebrities like Paris Hilton talk about their mental health healing journey but I think we should just be as sympathetic and supportive towards them as the Chinese slave, even if on paper bro has it really rough and we should count our blessings we're not him.
