- Thread tracking including (You) notifications in threads you don't have currently open
- Link embeds (ie Youtube videos)
- Much better board catalog
- Mark any post as (You) to fuck with other people in screenshots

In basically all respects 4chan X/XT is a vastly upgraded version of the native extension
