Her name in japanese is spelled exactly like Alice is spelled in every other japanese franchise that exists
In japanese its literally meant to be Alice
They call her Alis in the localization because they didn't really know how to translate the AL15 pun that only really worked in japanese. In japanese you can read Al15 as Alice, but it doesn't quite work the same in english, so they had to change it in the global version. But it is understood in the japanese version that its meant to be Alice
Its a complicated situation that's made complicated since some puns don't always translate.
