Not overrated at all.
Shadowbringers is very tight, with good antagonists, good voiceacting, great music, solid narrative with multiple standout moments and a solid small cast of characters.

Compared to FF13, FF13 spinoffs, FF15 and FF16 it absolutely dumpsters all of them.
