>gamepad fails contra test
So it would seem most modern gamepads fail the "contra" test, being too sensitive for contra (accidental diagonals), and also being too sensitive for precision platforming games with spikes (meat boy or whatever it's called).
Are there any modern gamepads that don't have such diagonal prone d-pad, since I'm not going to be playing fighting games (I also already have existing "diagonal prone controllers" if I ever do) so I'm in the lookout for some gamepad (for Nintendo Switch) that has good d-pad for contra/platformers. Extra points if it doesn't have rubber grips, because those get sticky, and it's main reason I hate Pro 1 controller.
