I work at a school as an "integration aid", aka I'm a teaching assistant with a graduate certificate in education, not a full degree. I am studying to get my actual teaching degree, but I'm still 6 months away from my Diploma and another year away from my masters.

I took my sharps container into the pharmacy for disposal, and buy some more Liver guard, which is milk thistle. The pharmacy person was a parent of one of the students I work with and she went to the school and told them I'm a drug user.

She has had her pharmacy license revoked and been fired, but she is telling everyone in town that I am a heroin addict and my boss is telling me I need to get drug tested before I return to work, and wants an explanation of what I use needles for. If I just get the hair drug test done by a local doctor within the week and it's all official, she will drop the issue and I will receive back pay.

The police came to my house and asked me to talk outside, saying they didn't want to enter the house in case they saw something that i didn't want them to see.

They told me they aren't going to act on illegally obtained information, but if i had any illegal drugs they would let me hand them over without charge, and would help me go into rehab.

Will a hair drug test turn up steroid use? steroids are literally more illegal than heroin in this country.
