Every year we are tormented by these birds. I don't think people realize how sophisticated they are. Right now a retarded fledgling fell off a roof into my garden, the whole community of birds attacks anyone on sight near the garden calling to the other birds to help, after a minute or so around 15 seagulls will come and start dive bombing and shitting on the so-called threat. They literally have sentries that can see 500m-1km away and will start squawking and warning that someone is near.
It's like watching some microcosm of an air corridor, they won't let other birds settle, the are constantly watching the sky. My neighbor's cat was injured by one yesterday. Even as I type this they are alerting their community that a threat is near, with one watching me through the window
