I already comforted her earlier in the conversation, and I'm smart enough to not have done that when she was having bigger issues. My suggestion came up later in the convo after she appeared to hint that she has side hustles, although I instantly regretted it because I thought she might interpret it as me criticizing her financial situation or patronizing her by suggesting a "woman job."
I did hesitate while I was typing it out. If I would just fucking listen to my gut, I would be less anxious about relationship stuff and more financially successful. Instead, I'm just a fucking moron.
