I think Gio would be a little sexist. Nothing too major, he respects strength above all else and would acknowledge that one's strength in battle has nothing to do with their sex. But he'd also be the first to mention the differences in physical strength, though that would primarily be him just trying to be logical about any mission plans, making sure that there are enough men on any missions that require a lot of physical strength. He'd probably also think men are better fit for leadership roles, but that would primarily be him thinking that he's the ideal leader, and assuming his masculinity is part of the reason for that. He wouldn't be against female admins leading missions, but that's because they'd be operating under his command.
This would also make him fairly protective of me, though. He wouldn't be close enough to the average grunt to go out of his way to worry about them, but with me, he'd probably check in on me frequently during late night missions and always make sure there's at least one male grunt on my teams for safety reasons. I also imagine that if we had kids, he'd take me out of active duty the moment he found out I was pregnant, insisting that I spend my time at the base resting and taking care of myself and the baby. He'd also be fairly traditional in all aspects involved in dating and marriage.
