The people who say that stuff barely watch anime and have never seen an isekai. Granted I haven't seen much isekai either, of the "game/OP" variety specifically besides reading the first 3 volumes of Kage no Jitsuryokusha, but a lot of people love to parrot things. A TV original anime that's also isekai? It's gonna get ignored, same with Turkey! this season, even if it's decent.

I'd call it that too. Feels like a show that I don't think too much of every week, but I have fun watching it, and when it's over I'm gonna be a bit nostalgic for it.
