I've been having fun comparing the 1916 Spanish to the 1895 Chilean it really is funny how similar they are.

1916 Spanish Positives:
>Gas relief hole
>Stronger rear sight design
>Hinged floorplate
>Cutout for stripper clips
>Follower lock bolt open open on empty (can be positive or a negative)

>1895 Chilean positives
>Rear bolt handle safety lug
>Better sight picture
>Better sling loops
>More modern rounded bottom on bolt
>Better trigger and smoother bolt
>Nicer wood and finish
>Overall nicer quality

There are a couple of other really small differences, I like both but definitely prefer the Chilean.
