YHWH is a transliteration of the hebrew.
This can be done because English uses the same alphabet as hebrew, phonecian, greek, latin, linear-a and linear-b; more or less. And has a few added letters for when it doesn't quite line up (like W, U, etc). A different font though, ofcourse.
