A few drops of hydrogen peroxide may help alleviate the pain by cleansing the ear canal of any gunk or ear wax that may be aiding or feeding the infection. Warm olive oil will essentially do the same thing but not really cleanse or sterilize it.
That said if you do decide to do that don't dump a whole tablespoon in there, just a few drops like I said. It's your body though so you're the best person to decide if that's a good idea and also if the infection is too deep into the air the pain relief my just be negligible. I hope you feel better anon.
