Assuming she's sticking around I could see this being a big part of her character development going forward, her having to come to terms with needing to kill and living with what she'll have to do. Would be nice though if her hesitance to kill rubbed off on Chihiro a bit and he'd start to fight just a bit less lethally, at least when fighting no named mooks.

I feel like she's gotten way to much focus in the second half of this arc just to be discarded when it's over, as for training up it doesn't really seem necessary since we've seen that she's already a highly skilled swordswoman. However only time will tell, it is fully possible Takeru vanishes her from the story after all this.
