People didn't want Ezio to be meta because they don't want to roll him but also they're metafags so they act like if you don't get #1 on the manes leaderboard day 1 you will die.
If a character can comfortably clear reveries and you have fun with them then they're good, who gives a shit about meta in a game this easy without PVP?
