Both of those mechanics are objectively bad. He hurts your feeling telling the truth. The objective truth. 8 points snapping movement and rolling not working are objectively a fucking big issue with DS2. One of many. It's an issue plaguing new players, it's an issue plaguing DS1 players, and Demon Souls one, it's an issue no other game in the franchise got. For some reason (the reason is that it's retarded).
Your attempt to portray the hundred of ganks random encounters in DS2 as "just a nitpick" is laughable. Did you play the fucking game? They're everywhere. And most importantly, no other FROM game even tried to copy that kind of gank. Because it was retarded.
You seem to be butthurt because you love DS2, which I can absolutely empathize with. I get it. You like this game. I like Majula too. I have a fondness for it.
This doesn't remove the fuckhuge amount of OBJECTIVE criticism this game need to have, starting with 8 points movements, rolls not working, the ganking, the lmao level design, nothing making sense, the scatterbained enemy placement, the absend-mindlesness of it all. Nothing works quite right in DS2.
