changed to 2.0.0 due to dropping support for older unity engines it now only supports 2022 and up going forward
liltoon 2.0 was announced a year ago and it was explained this would be the case as well as changes that addon creators would need to do so their addons don't break
Stick to 1.10.3 for now and do the thing where you install vrclightvolume package to get vrc lights 2.0
liltoon 2.0.0 had a fixable bug where you just change the liltoon.editor assembly definition asset to (auto refernced on) but it's pretty much exactly the same as 1.10.3 just with packaged VRCLV2.0
liltoon 2.1 has everything is pink tier bugs but has a bunch of VRCLV calculation updates
pic related it's an example of vertex light volumes vs pixel light volumes
>2.1 updated
lilToon 2.1.0 has been released
. The quality has been improved by calculating VRC Light Volumes on a pixel-by-pixel basis. It is also now possible to adjust the rim light that occurs in backlighting, making it easier to blend in with avatars with various textures.
### Added
- Allows adjustment of rim light that occurs in backlighting with VRCLV
- Added API to consolidate shader compilation in one run when building multiple avatars
### Changed
- Calculates VRC Light Volumes on a pixel-by-pixel basis (excluding fur shaders due to load considerations)
### Fixed
- Shadows cannot be created if the Skybox is invalid
- MatCap is not displayed correctly when using StaticBatching
- Appearance changes before and after optimization when noise is unassigned in Dissolve
