Weren't exclusives only good early on when cheap PCs weren't great alternatives? Everybody went "hey instead of spending 10x the cash, buy this dedicated gaming machine!" and it worked fine. Exclusives then pushed those dedicated machines then creating the big names we know today.
But nowadays it's far easier to buy a reasonable rig that can play everything without breaking the bank. Why remain "exclusive"?
