Hasbro wants Power Rangers to be a seperate thing from Super Sentai, but they have no idea how to go about it. Power Rangers without Super Sentai is just a gutted bootleg. And the worst part is that since Hasbro still owns Power Rangers, Toei can't even expand Sentai to the west, they stopped selling more Sentai seasons over here years ago. Honestly speaking, which how much money Hasbro has been bleeding lately, they should just sell the rights back to Bandai and focus on their own IPs.
