had to check this but I’m pretty sure if correctly interpreted as “parts and accessories” (9503002900) rather than the default action figure / doll category (9503002190); they will have 0 import duty. I’m gonna drop a message to ami-chan asking her to label my order as “plastic model kits- assembly required” so it should be fine. Even if this fails, 9503002190 has a duty rate of just 4% and that’s only if whoever tf is checking isn’t certain that the goods originated in Japan. If they correctly mark the Japanese company’s goods arriving from Japan as “Japanese origin”; import duty will still be 0% even in this iffy situation (due to our EPA with Japan). So I don’t think reducing the chance of import duty is worth splitting the parcel- especially since I would likely need to split it three ways to get all under 135£. But this is the first time I’ve ordered a parcel over 135£, so please say if you have experience to the contrary.
