It's been fucking yonks since I played Undertale so correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Frisk established to be their own person by the end of the pacifist run? Despite that, people don't seem to have any trouble accepting that they're as much of a blank slate as possible for the player to project themselves onto. I don't see how Kris is any different, beyond the fact that them being their own person is much more of a pronounced plot point.
