Roman empire was a like any empire, it just took more times for it to collapse and entire people were wiped out of their own lands. Italy lost 90% of its population. Celts almost got eradicated from the surface of Earth. Lot of emperors were mixed. They became totaly degenerates and got rapped by barbaric tribes. That's what you get when you get an empire. Dysfonctional society that get rapped by barbaric tribes as soon as expension stops.
Why do you think the EU when to endlessly expand (even to north africa now) ?
What you describe is just ideas you make in your head because you are uneducated ! It's not reality and the EU show it ! The EU was supposed to be a western christian collectif of nation used trade and science to avoid war. Now it's just another european failing empire, because it is always what happen when you try that idea !!!
