Not to go full full /pol/-lack, but I do think there's actually a pretty big difference in reaction between the two and is somewhat relevant to current events . I think it says something the image they focus on isn't a gay or lesbian couple, but the boys crossdressing and being trans and nonbinary. Trans (and drag) culture have overtaken the other 75% of the acronym, and that leads to some oddities in this month. You say the obvious pronoun joke, but what exactly does that have to do with gay pride?

I really do have an issue with how trans pride have overtaken actual sexuality discussions. It is stuff like the story just pushing aside the actual lesbian couple for...whatever the hell the boys + brainrotten cat are doing. It feels a lot like what if MGTOW/incel pride was liberal, and why this stuff have gotten so loud over the years.
