Faguar. In all honesty this should make me sad but it does not. For me it died 28 years ago when they stopped offering a V12 and became totally uninteresting when the design went derpy after the X308 went out of production. It's ironic how they gave every car that sold well using the same boomer design for decades, that everyone except contrarian teenagers who couldn't drive or afford them anyway liked, a modern makeover in hopes of appealing to a new generation of buyers. Yet nostalgia for times they were not even alive to witness is an enormous, gargantuan deal for hipster millennials and born-too-late zoomers. Those born into money and thus able to afford them would rather buy the retro boomermobile designs. It would have been a selling point. I still think all of that was an excuse and the real reason is somehow about increasing profit margins and complying with gay ass regulations like pedodestrian safety and fleet fuel economy ratings. Even more ironically the boomers did this. The second they got too old to drive or at least too old to enjoy it and had no more need for it themselves, they banned everything cool and turned cars into boring supersize mobility scooters for geriatrics, full of nannies that make it so you don't have to see anything, react quickly or even pay attention anymore. If you ask me, cars as anything but a neccessary appliance are done. I hate it, it's sad but nothing you can do.
