Dude it was the 1960s are you for real? This faggot traveled with it as a circus piece like come see the bearded lady or the strong man. You think people in 1960s had portable cameras like we do now? And it was photographed, its just really hard to find them. Either scrubbed or just never archived properly. They were published in magazines in 1960 including in this image.

Photographs of the Minnesota Iceman were taken during its late 1960s exhibition and published in sources such as Argosy magazine (May 1969) in Ivan T. Sanderson’s article titled “Is This the Missing Link Between Man and Apes?” The images show a large, hair-covered humanoid encased in ice, roughly 6 feet tall, with a damaged eye, flattened nose, broken arm, and what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head. These details, along with sketches by Bernard Heuvelmans, were used to support early claims that the creature was a genuine hominid. However, the ice and frosted glass obscured much of the figure’s detail, and only a few highquality photos were published. Exhibitor Frank Hansen later swapped the display with a latex replica, allegedly after the original began to decay or due to fear of legal consequences. Most surviving images are grainy, but archived magazine scans and blog reproductions preserve these visuals for researchers and enthusiasts. Photos do exist, but access is limited to niche publications and vintage collectors.
