i wouldn't, ventilation would make it difficult to keep a home warm, nail plates will have the potential to created plasma. that plasma can change, erode many different materials atomizing and aerosolizing them.
i assume you'd get all the health problems of pica without the mental illness diagnoses, so not that bad do it.
