I think it's very interesting how Cathay developed; from being initially pushed by chinese fans to then, together with Creative Assembly, to convince GW to give Fantasy-China a chance.
The way they were integrated into the Old World is a bit odd though, especially if you're involving Miao Ying instead of Yin-Yin, but we'll see what they have further in mind.
