Yes, and that's because you wrote it that way. It's infuriating enough when someone feeds you this pap IRL after you've lost a loved one or been robbed or whatever, but when somebody deliberately weaves wild and convenient coincidence into their story as a way to that God's Plan exists, I want to start throwing bricks.
