I let the Chaos gods down, unfortunately. We did fine in the fighting, but I picked the wrong battle tactics and it cost me the game. I suspected Wrathful Cycles was either really good or really bad and wanted to experiment with it in our first game. It's really bad.

They're ok. I think their biggest strength is their mobility, hob grots don't do anything in combat, but teleporting them to steal an objective and score your battle tactic is pretty amazing.
The two new warscrolls are a must, they make the army function. Your dirty tricks are really strong, but if you ever fail the roll it can completely ruin your plans, so being able to negate that as much as possible is big.
My friend doesn't run him, but I think Kragnos is really good in KB as well, gives them the burst damage the army otherwise lacks. Without him they're very "death by a thousand cuts", but they're not really tanky enough to win a war of attrition.
