Why would they? People still play Orks in Epic Space Marine even though a good chunk of their special shit can backfire in hilarious ways, like weirdboys, have to keep them with the boyz so they get waaaargh energy, and unleash awesome firepower, but at the same time if you juice them up good they might explode and take a quarter of your army with them.
Its just good craic - a fun game is more important than a won game.
