Having a shooter were gyro isn't just optional it's basically required was pretty ballsy. But it paid off.
Turns out the Nintendo crowd is willing to experiment with new control schemes.
And now: more and more games even on Playstation come with gyro aiming support. (I.e. Monster Hunter, since Rise including Wilds, has native gyro support even on PC)
Which always makes Microsoft look hilariously more behind the times for just REFUSING to add a gyroscope to their controllers (a component that costs $0.50 - $1 on industrial scale), they even never have a gyroscope available as an option in their polls of "which feature would you like to see in the future". So they are actively pretending it doesn't exist.
