Turn 6:
Pirates charge over the hill.
I goofed up my Uziel's movement and ended with +2 TMM while only being 3 hexes from the Sagittare.
All of the pirates dump fire into the Sagittare, scoring 40+ damage and causing a failed PSR to topple the assault. The Sagittare retaliates with its battery of pulse lasers, opening the Uziel's RT but failing to set off the ammo, and shredding it's left leg down to 1/3rd armour. The Uziel fails it's PSR and takes a tumble. Lu Bei Wing takes superficial damage from the Dervish and Bushie.
That's where we left it for the night. Might pick it up today or tomorrow.
Overall, this was the most damage adverse game I've ever played. Only two rounds with real shooting by turn 6. My dad set up the map, and I think he put in a bit too many level 2 hills, which combined with the dropship to create very congested sight lines.
I think I played well, using my 4/6 assaults to feint at the start resulted in his mechs needing to pivot, which made him fail to set up in an advantageous position. I'm concerned that my Uziel is about to pop, which will be very bad if I can't take out the Sagittare in the next turn or two.
But the brawl is starting, and I'm fairly certain my Banshee and Lu Bei Wing will be able to CQC the Sagittare to death.
