i don't think people realize how utterly btfo left wing ideologies were in the 70's/80's. Even todays "leftists" are hyper-individualists obsessed with identity politics. the individual being secondary to the social/the state,the commune/the people/the collective etc simply doesn't exist in any meaningful way anymore.
Today's "leftists" are liberals. lol. not the same as socialists, communists or even "social-democrats" etc.
