If I was the GM I'd say that would totally do it. I think a big part of TW stuff is just the sentiment of an act having a real world effect. Like you can't make a gun you hold with your cheeks and fly through the air with, you have to make the gun shoot something. The gun isn't alive at all but for some reason you have to treat it like it has some will of it's own.
