From what we know, Yiffy was one of the 3 "requirements" from Hussie for her HS^2 to exist, besides that he supposedly had no other input. But the whole cuckoldry arc started in the Epilogues and her character was mentioned there, which had an entirely different group of writers. As such, the future sight thing is just other people trying to cope and have the cucking thing make some sort of sense. HS^2 has had 3 fucking distinct teams at this point, not to mention the Epilogue writers. It is not a ship steering forward with any intent, it's a leaking paddleboat that's passed off to whoever's willing to pilot it again after it sinks.
