Other classes struggle when not supported purely because of the random waves. Especially Engineer will get royally fucked if they spawn right behind him when he's digging at the compact dirt.
Normal wave could be bigger, spawned further, and takes 20-25s to spawn instead of the usual 15s, and other classes would be able to clear quite reliably.
