I have "two" of em, a regular model and a Competition upper swap for the same frame.

The Competition is very reliable compared to my other .22s but I discovered there were ammo types it was not happy with, some Federal and Winchester I sent back to each company. It would get periodic stovepipes like that pic in the post you're quoting too, with any type of ammo, rare but not zero.

The older regular TX22 upper, pic rel, is AMAZINGLY reliable, it eats anything ~900 fps and faster, with and without a suppressor, and does not falter. I even took a few mags of the suspect Federal that crippled the Competition upper, and the old TX22 upper fed it 100%. I had maybe two or three malfunctions of any type (including ammo) over ~3,500 rounds. Compare to ~100 malfunctions (mostly ammo) over another 4,500 rounds from the Competition upper. Compare to ~50 malfunctions every 300 rounds from my Ruger Mark III (Tacsol Paclite upper) once it gets dirty from the suppressor. I can't even guess at how many malfunctions I get with my Beretta 21A or Walther P22. Probably somewhere between the Competition and the Ruger.

This is just my experience, there are anons who have posted here who have not had my good luck with TX22s, and there are others here who have been just as pleased.
