You can be mad at truth all you want, that doesn't change the poop fact. You wouldn't even need a study, it's common sense. Normal people wipe their face, you simply can't. All you do is smear more dirt into your dirt rug and give bacteria a nice breeding ground to fester in a warm, moist, greasy environment. It's plain and simple a symbol of bad hygiene, just like beards signal other unsavory behavior and traits.
