They literally tried that with Unleashed and satAM/Classic fags still hated humams. You have to realize there's just a certain (old) group of Sonic fans that simply believes that Sonic should strictly have a animal only cast outside of Eggman. Luckily these type of Sonic fans are mostly rare nowadays, given they moved on from the Sonic franchise by the time Forces happened.
