>There's usually a cripple area cordoned off with bike racks, a VIP/pit-free area at some shows right up front, sometimes centred, sometimes split off to the sides, a barricade a few metres back from the stage to give a bit of a no-man's land for press, security, medical transport/emergency services, and to keep the crowd from getting up on stage. I'll have to take a look to tell you properly, but I've set up enough festivals to give a QRD.
