I don't have Mualani so idk about surfing but since you can combine it with flying, I assume thats also better.

Old routes were comfy in hindsight, only taken back by the lack of movement chars. Nowadays Mavuika + spd buffer + double anemo destroy everything, but the routes are wild, one of mine has me going to chasm,, then sumeru, liyue, chenyu, fonta, inazuma, sumeru again and then natlan. I have fun doing them but shit got out of hand
