The toothless cyclical nature of the show was already apparent before she left, which had drained most of my enthusiasm for the show anyway, aside from the movies. Ironically, the soft reboot going into Advanced just removed all doubt. That said>>57939281 keeps mentioning the elements of Hoenn that might have gelled with her and I keep agreeing that fourth time could have been the charm.
